This proficiency test is part of the Volkswagen qualification series. Regardless of this, any laboratory can take part in this proficiency test.
The
focus of this proficiency test is on the assessment of the laboratory's performance in determining the parameters
- Afterflame after exposure to flame
- Afterglow after each exposure to flame
- Total afterflame time
- Dripping behavior
- Ignition of wadding/cotton
- Burning or glowing combustion of
the specimens up to the clamp
according to TL 1011:2024-06
The proficiency test is covered by the scope of the ANAB accreditation.Timeline
- Registration by: March 31, 2027
- Samples dispatch by: April 30, 2027
- Results submitted by: July 31, 2027
QD Labs LP reserves the right to cancel this PT due to insufficient participation. In this case, the participant will be informed in good time; if necessary, alternatives will be offered.
